BIOGRAPHY
In 2006, Ceri-lyn competed alongside over 4000 other untrained auditionees
nationwide to become a finalist of BBC New Talent’s “Search
for a Musical Theatre Performer”
Following her success, she gained a place on the postgraduate Musical Theatre
course at the Royal Academy of Music, where she won the Cameron Mackintosh Prize.
She was generously sponsored by The Lionel Bart Foundation, The John Thaw Trust,
an Ian Fleming Musical Theatre Award and a BBC Fame Academy Bursary.
During her year of study, roles included Amy (Company), Mary (Merrily We Roll
Along) and Chrissy (Dancing at Lughnasa).
On the day of her graduation, she had her final audition for Sam Buntrock’s
new version of “The Rocky Horror Show” and was offered the role
of Janet touring Berlin, Vienna, Zurich, Munich, Trieste and Dussledorf. |
